Historical Duck -- Webfoot profile

On the web, content is king. Far more important than glitzy graphics, content makes people come back again and again.

Let's see how this month's chosen web sites measure up:

Ratings
Info
Content Links Glitz Type Site (url) and Comments
A   B   B+ Fonts Match Fonts (http://www.matchfonts.com/os2/).  A fine collection of fonts; the Duck likes this site.
A   F   C- Freeware The Papo Home Page (http://www.msen.com/~rpapo/).  It's always nice to have some extra gadgets on the desktop.  Source code included.
A+ D   C+ IBM IBM Redbooks (http://www.redbooks.ibm.com/).  Didja know about this site?  Didja spend an all-niter reading some docs?  They're PDF; save to a file, then run Acrobat Reader.
A- D   C+ Acrobat Adobe Acrobat Reader For OS/2 (http://www.adobe.com/prodindex/acrobat/readstep.html).  View those nasty PDF files with this free reader.
A   F   C+ Audio RealPlayer (http://www.real.com/).  The OS/2 version of RealPlayer is still available for free.
B   F   A   Utilities SysBar/2 (http://www.lab321.ru/~dip/sysbar2/).  Very nice home page for the free SysBar/2 utilities.  Hint:  Click on "overview".
B   D- C+ File Mgr Larsen Commander (http://home.sol.no/~leilarse/lcmd/index.html).  New beta 0.94 released December 23.  Check the screen shot!
C   F   C+ CD Writer RSJ CD-Writer for OS/2 (http://www.rsj.de/stage/en/cd_os2.htm).  Record your CDs with this OS/2 package.  Duck is impressed with the software, but not with the site.
A   F   C   Programming OS/2 Device Driver Frequently Asked Questions (http://www.wdi.co.uk/os2dd/os2dd.html).  This isn't about using drivers.  It's about writing drivers.
?   ?   B+ OS/2 Logo Just Warp! (http://www.mclink.it/mclink/teamos2it/justwarp/index.htm).  The site's in Italian, but the logo is quackin' great!
