Well, some of Butch's problems are self-induced.  The LTE is a bit older 
than the Toshiba, but at the time, Compaq had very good OS/2 support.  
There were drivers for everything on the Compaq website and everything 
worked.  I've got over 6MB of files cached here, just in case.

Yes.  The LTE was a high-end machine for its day.  Fast TFT display and 
above average color support.

The WD chipset is so old I would be surprised it SNAP even recognized it.

It's amazing what a difference 10 years makes. :-) 
Keep in mind that the T30 cost you about half the price of the LTE and 
that's without taking inflation into account.
