I figured out how it's supposed to work.  The radio buttons only select  
the results presented in Identify mode.  There's no current perimeter data  
because none has been loaded since 10/2/03.  The previous fire perimeters  
display as expected when made visible and clicking on them in Identify  
mode gets query results.
