How do I unzip *only* the files in the top-level directory of a
multi-level zip file?

For example, if the zip file contains

*.txt (many files)
DIR001\*.txt (many files)
... (many directories)
DIR999\*.txt (many files)

how do I unzip the file and *only* get the top-level *.txt files?
