On the web, content is king. Far more important than glitzy graphics, content makes people come back again and again.
Let's see how WebFoot measures this month's chosen web sites:

Ratings
Info
Content Links Glitz Type Site (url) and Comments
A   C+ B   Team OS/2 Master OS/2 Warp Update List (http://www.cincyteamos2.org/masterupdate.html). Review this heavily visited site and you'll feel like an IBM "insider". Is your copy of OS/2 up to date?
A   A   A   User Group Team Java (http://www.teamjava.com). Java on OS/2 beats anything Mr. Gates can pontificate about. Lookee here for a hot cuppa.
B   F   B+ Hardware Tandberg Data Tape Storage (http://www.tandberg.com). These are great tape drives, but yes they're pricey.
A   B- B   Software Practice Corporation (http://www.practice.xo.com/). QuickTime on OS/2? Yes! Try their QuickMotion and QuickFlick.
F   A   C- Programming The Rexx Language (http://rexx.hursley.ibm.com/rexx). One darn good link site to visit if you're learning or using Rexx.
A   F   A   Software V Communications, Inc. (http://www.v-com.com). System Commander boots any OS.
B   A   D+ Personal Timur Tabi's Programming Links (http://www.edm2.com/common/links.html). Timur is OS/2-centric, and if you're a code rocketeer there's something here for you.
A   C   B+ Magazine EDM/2 - The Electronic Developer Magazine for OS/2 (http://www.edm2.com/). Check out this online monthly's back issues for some programming gems.
F   A   A+ Personal SpiceWare OS/2 Entertainment and Programming Home Page (we don't do windows) (http://www.geocities.com/~spiceware/). The "links" icon is the road in the left column.
?   ?   B   Magazine Hungarian OS/2 Times (http://www.alarmix.net/os2times/index.htm). Heard of Hungarian notation?

This month's Duck Feather

Need a picture of something? There are search engines which find images rather than words. Try http://www.lycos.com/lycosmedia.html or http://isurf.yahoo.com, then enter a keyword.

Example: Searching on "duck" returned 869 duck pictures from Lycos, and 26 from Yahoo.
