Actually, I did do that before crying for help here. Most specifically, my v2 manual, page 10-8 tells how
to use 'objdinst restore '. I ran that and the machine trapped on PMWP. That is pretty much when I
gave up and came here.

Tried that first, before anything else. No good. It gave me a desktop w/ a cmd window. From there I
tried checkini and it gave me a destop that was the Object Navigator!! Weird stuff....

I discovered that my backup had no EA's!! Don't know how I did that, it musta been one of those shit
happens moments. I had to go to an older backup and there was minimal need for the OD package that I had
made.

Anyway, thanks again for the pointers.
