Most of the time you have no indication that you are losing email because you 
don't know it was sent.  In my case I was expecting email from dshield.org 
every hour which stopped arriving when I moved to godaddy.  When I called the 
godaddy support line I learned that there was filtering I could not turn off, 
so I moved.
