Hi Martin
I am in a quite similar situation like you and =

currently working on a 15" TFT with 1024x768 resolution !

My intentions are going for a 1600x1200 resolution and my =

preferred brand would be a Samsung again !!

http://www.samsung.com/au/products/monitors/tft/index.asp

Samsung's website istn't very cooperative with help to choose ;-(
There are so many pages one has to flip till hip ;-O

Beside of the resolution I also would consider the Pivot function:
Changing from landscape to portrait may be supported with SNAP =

as a custom setting !? However with anything else than OS/2 it may =

be supported better !?

HTH and I would als appreciate some more feedback or suggestion =

regarding interesting alternatives, considerations and products ;-)

TIA, svobi

Subject:	SCOUG-Help: Buying a Flat Screen Monitor...?

I need advice on buying a flat screen monitor about which I know =

nothing. Is LCD OK or is there also plasma to consider? If I get one =

that has a resolution of 1680 x 1050 will it also work at 1024 x 768?
My =

eyes are getting old ands I cannot see much above 1024 x 768. I do =

mostly internet and text, but occasionally graphic creation. Will eCS =

and the SNAP drivers drive any flat screen monitor or is that a worry? =

Please give any advice you can in this brave new world to me.

Martin Rosenfeld
