I see what you mean.  Seems to have just about every 
available connection.  There are some hybrid units 
that I think are supposed to be usable either as 
computer monitors (if you budget extends that far), OR 
as a regular nice-size TV . . . and this may be one of 
them.  I will read those reviews later when I have 
more time.  I do know that -- for example -- Costco 
and Walmart have some models of name brands, like 
Sharp, that are made just for them.  That they can be 
sold at such a bargain price is kind of a tipoff that 
they are not really up to the level of some other 
models of that brand.  The Dells may be a special 
case, though.
