Looking for clues from others who may have experienced this on TP 600
family running OS/2 or eCS.

Sometimes while whizzing along at my keyboard certain keys become
inactive and others show incorrect or swapped keybindings. When in
this disturbed state the following happens

 - Most alphanumeric keys remain stable
 - ; (semicolon) key becomes non-responsive
 - ' (single quote) prints ae ligature
 - ?/ key swaps with _-
 - [ prints a with a circle above (nordic language glyph)

I cannot restore proper bindings in any way (e.g. NumLock, various
Ctrl combinations, killing eComCenter with WatchCat) so must reboot.

Clues? What further steps to diagnose?
