OK, I got it, it looks great.   Using simple command   
 
  MTR ip.ad.dr.ess  
 
it gives me (instantly!) the trace and keeps updating.   This is very  
impressive.    
 
However it says UNKNOWNHOST at the top of the display which must mean  
something but I can find no documentation for this.  
 
Also I expect this terrific little program can do a lot more because  
the command to invoke it points to  
 
 MTR.EXE %1 %2 %3 %4 %5 %6 %7 %8 %9  
 
Unfortunately no documentation I can find about this.  
 
Anyone who knows this program please post the answers and point to  
any mystery documentation.  (It also seems to mention a GUI interface  
but I can find only the command-line execution.)
