*Questions* Can I run the exe file that starts the installation of RSJ
from the CD-ROM? Does this file install the program and all related files
or does it create a number of zip files that must be unzipped to do the
installation? Will the installation program let me specify the drive and
folder/directory in which the program will be placed? Or must it be run
from the directory/folder in which I want to put the program?

From the .doc files for DaniATAPI (release 0.3.10 4/20/02 and release
0.3.14 2/24/03) I get the impression that RSJ installs RSJIDECD.FLT and
LOCKCDR.FLT in c:\os2\boot and BASEDEVICE=RSJIDECD.FLT AND
BASEDEVICE=LOCKCDR.FLT in config.sys. The latest version 0.3.14 .doc file
says:

>RSJ:
> DaniATAPI.FLT is fully compatible to the RSJ cdwriter filesystem
>and its
> accompanied utilities. In fact, if you run DaniATAPI.FLT instead of

>(RSJIDECD.FLT is
> derived from IBMIDECD.FLT and thus supports busmaster DMA on Intel

*Question* Does this mean I should not make config.sys changes like those
required by Preference 1 or 3 until after I have installed RSJ?

I have seen references in message threads about the need to use the /RSJ
"backdoor". *Question* Do these references mean Preference 1 does not
work?
