A particular user. Suppose you have email accounts at two different
ISPs or you have an office computer that is shared by two different
people or your office has a secretary that handles incoming email for
two people (herself and her boss) from her own computer. Then you would
use two different profiles, one for each email account. The emails are
stored separately and if the profiles are password protected then a user
can only open the email account for which he is authorized.
