Why is confidence in this subject so hard to attain?  If the BIOS can   
see it, W4 can see it.  I have two 80G and one 120G, all IDE, all in   
plug-in racks, that move between a socket 7, a P3 and a P4.  It is   
doable.  For starters use Dani.
