Hi Ben
Why didn't you place the Mozilla & Netscape entries ant the begin
of its pathes ???
As I understand: They must be the first entries in their pathes
!!!

In your display below you do have MPTN and CDWFS "ahead" of the
browser entries !?

I am sorry that I cannot point to something better ;-(
Cheers, svobi

here's what I did before posting the query
manually edited config.sys to:
SET
PATH=C:\MPTN\BIN;C:\IBMCOM;C:\MOZILLA.ORG\MOZILLA;C:\NETSCAPE\PROG
RAM;
... LIBPATH=C:\CDWFS;C:\MOZILLA.ORG\MOZILLA;C:\NETSCAPE\PROGRAM;
...

tried the following, none of which work, in the settings browser
field:
    mozilla
    mozilla 1.21
    "mozilla 1.21" (this works from a command line)
    startmozilla.cmd (this works from a command line, my cmd
file in the
same folder as MR2I.exe)
    "c:\mozilla.org\mozilla\mozilla 1.21"  (this works from a
command
line)

the executable, mozilla 1.21 is in c:\mozilla.org\mozilla double
click on
this opens the browser

just back after two days without power owing to the Monday night
winds
