What you say is true in theory, but real life tends to get in the way.   
While it doesn't take much time, it does take some time which equates to  
cost in business.  In addition, the cost may far outweigh the perceived  
benefit.  FInally, the cost may be more than you think, especially when a  
site it totally redone for what every reason.
