It can. I believe option 6, does this.

See online help for a muddled explanation. You'll need to do a global
search of all the help libraries for resolv and resolv2 (Services ->
Search -> All libaries). Best I can tell is RESOLV2 is generally
consulted first and RESOLV is used in some in cases when multiple
interfaces are active. As you have seen DHCP and PPP update RESOLV2 as
needed. PPP saves a backup as RESOLV2.LAN.
