Hello
Why don't you change to AE ?
AE is an Advanced Editor replacing E.EXE !

E.EXE is quite old stuff and has some obsolete or unwanted behavior =

one cannot change !!

AE as an ADVANCED replacement deals with these insufficient behaviors
of E.EXE !!!

The most accurate version today is 1.5.5
Get and try it from here:

Good luck and Merry Christmas

Subject:	SCOUG-Help: Strange error in E.EXE

Steven:

I'm not sure what you mean by "I suspect there's something wrong with
the e.exe =

resources. Usually the fix to reapply the resource updates."?

IAC, copying E.EXE from my ThinkPad did not clear the problem up.

Do you think my CONFIG.SYS has something to do with it? The PATH
statement is 268 =

bytes long or so. I will attach my CONFIG.SYS.
