It is a DR-DOS utility like DEBUG.  You can use it to read the hex  
characters of which the file is composed, allowing you e.g. to see  
non-printing characters which do not display on-screen to see if they  
are really there.  Unfortunately I have not used it for some time and  
I cannot recall how to load a file or to step through the display.  
 
Can someone help?
