The problem:
I want to look up music CDs (and perhaps vinyl LPs) on the Internet for the
purpose of building a spreadsheet inventory of my CD collection. I would like to
do this by scanning the UPC code on the CD case (via a CueCat scanner) and then
have DDE link to Mozilla to look up the information the I want and return it to
the spreadsheet. I could use either Lotus 1-2-3 or Star Office as the spreadsheet.

Questions:
Is this possible, or a whole bunch of blue-sky dreaming?

Are there any programs or tutorials that could help me do this?

Does anyone know of web sites that have this kind of information available?

Thanks!
