SCOUG OS/2 For You - January 1997

January Meeting Topic

SCOUG's New Year Starts Jan 18th

We're Shooting for Lotus...

Come and be surprised with the meeting topic. Heading to press, we don't have confirmation that Lotus will be here, but that's our hope. They just released the OS/2 version of Smart Suite, and - like everyone - we want to see it. Whatever the presentation, afterwards we'll take time for your questions. Then, the SIGs:

General Interest Group - will compare the new Netscape for OS/2 with the Web Explorer.

Network SIG - will continue their study of client-server environments available on OS/2.

Programming SIG - The topic for the January meeting will be Object REXX, how it differs from REXX, and how it can be used to perform tasks that REXX is not readily suited for.
