BBS Files of the Month

RXBAS210.ZIP

RexxBase 2.1 is an excellent REXX interface for accessing dBase III and IV files. Many of us have dBase files laying around one place or another. Many of us are curious about REXX. Why not take the opportunity to bring both together? RexxBase provides access to dBase files to any REXX application.

With this tool you can add database capability to your VX-REXX programs without having to buy the Client-Server version. You'd be surprised how many different applications use dBase files. You may already know that the IBM Works package Data Filer uses dBase as its file format. Did you also know that the PIM component of the IBM Works uses dBase also? So even though the PIM doesn't include an export or import option, you can use RexxBase to get your data out of the phone book or calendar.

While you're at it, consider these other files available on CES BBS.
