SCOUG OS/2 For You - April 1996

BBS File of the Month

OS/2 Connect

SCOUG isn't the only one to publish a newsletter in electronic form. Another is OS/2 Connect, a monthly newsletter published specifically as an INF file suitable for use with the standard "View" utility (VIEW.EXE) built into OS/2. These electronic files are handy because they offer convenient hyper-linking between relevant parts of the document. Searching and indexing are other pluses.

The current issue is named CON0396.ZIP and a sample of the contents of this newsletter include:

  • Team OS/2
  • OS/2 User Groups
  • Who's Who of OS/2
  • Publications
  • Books
  • Periodicals
  • Videos
  • News and Press Releases
  • Graphic of the Month
  • OS/2 Tips, Tricks

As you can see, OS/2 Connect makes an excellent reference for all of your OS/2 needs. Why don't you just place a shadow of the INF file on your desktop so it's always handy?
