SCOUG OS/2 For You - April 1995

April Meeting Topic

Relish the Moments

With Spring weather tickling your fancy, SCOUG has a carrot to lure you to the meeting on April 15th. The presentation topic is the Relish time and information organizer for OS/2. Sundial Systems of Seal Beach will be showing the single user and network versions - and all the ways they can make time more easily manageable.

Now, one of the ways that Sundial keeps in the forefront of the OS/2 industry is that they are always working on what's coming from IBM. And, what's coming next is a whole new hardware architecture that has the potential to give you a lot more computing power. Power is the key word here.

Thus, if you like seeing innovative OS/2 applications running on up and coming hardware, this is the meeting for you.

Q&A and SIGs Also

Following the presentation will be a question and answer session. If you've been having trouble with something, this is the time to seek help from the group. On the flip side, if you've recently found a solution to a problem, this is the time to share it.

After a short break, the SIGs will begin about 11:45 AM. They give you a chance to pursue more focused OS/2 topics.

The General Interest Group concentrates on OS/2 itself - special things the operating system has to offer and ways to use it better.

The LAN SIG focuses on administrative and user issues in the LAN Server, NetWare, and LANtastic OS/2 network environments.

The Programmers SIG is delving into the pleasures and nuances of REXX.
